Purpose of the Job

The DevOps Analyst job exists to evaluate the completeness, accuracy, and optimisation of ZINARA’s revenue system in line with set standards. The Dev Ops Analyst, will be working in conjunction with systems development to develop new products and features, manage critical production processes and systems with support and infrastructure teams.

The incumbent reports to the Systems Development Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Keep track with trends in continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) technologies and methodologies.
  2. Automation of code review with style, quality and test coverage checks.
  3. Monitor and control quality of code pushed to Version Control systems ensuring it has no bugs.
  4. Develop tools and processes to reduce occurrences of errors on production environment and improve customer experience.
  5. Manage software releases, configuration, monitoring and support of all production system components.
  6. Deploy new products, updates, and fixes to production environment.
  7. Monitor and validate operational quality characteristics.
  8. Implement tools that increase the percentage of defects detected in testing before production release.
  9. Ensure design, test and maintain configuration and deployment and delivery tools.
  10. Provide second level support and interconnect Development and Operational teams.
  11. Implement, and communicate section policies, processes and procedures.
  12. Produce technical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5 Ordinary Levels including Mathematics and English.
  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/ Electronic Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering Project Management/Networking/Programming
  • Networking Certificate/Programming Certificate/PRINCE 2 ITIL  Equivalent
  • CSZ or equivalent professional membership
  • At least two years related working experience.

Purpose of the Job

The position exists to provide systems administration and maintenance support to ZINARA’s Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) System. This entails ensuring high system uptimes in line with agreed performance targets.  

The incumbents report to the Business Systems Support Specialist.

Duties and Responsibilities
  1. SAP Basis administration, for SAP ERP, NetWeaver, BW, Solution Manager Systems
  2. SAP Workflow Hierarchy Maintenance
  3. SAP User roles and Security
  4. Troubleshooting respective SAP module errors or problems
  5. Assist business in understanding SAP system capabilities
  6. Work with ABAP developers to identify and implement custom solutions as required.
  7. Testing and deploying solutions to the production systems
  8. Offer relevant training and development to SAP end users.
  9. Maintenance of Fiori/Gateway server
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5 Ordinary Levels including Mathematics and English.
  • Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems/ Electronic Engineering/Telecommunication Engineering Project Management/Networking/Programming
  • Project Management Certificate/Networking Certificate/Programming Certificate/ITIL /CISA/CISP Certificate or equivalent

Purpose of the Job

The Information Security Specialist position exists to protect ZINARA’s computer network and data. Also assist in developing secure mobile access so that information can be safely accessed remotely via mobile devices. The position is responsible for operating IT security systems, performing security assessments and recommending mitigating actions, investigating security incidents, creating and distributing reports, promoting security awareness and participating in projects.

The incumbent reports to the ICT Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receive security incidents/requests from users on all hardware, software, and network problems, troubleshoots and finds solutions to the said problems.

Conduct ongoing information security threats and vulnerability assessments.

Create and execute information security awareness training programs for employees, contractors, and approved system users.

Disseminates information on cyber security threats.

Assists in the performance of Penetration Tests.

Implement recommendations of Internal/External Audits.

Perform periodic User Access Reviews.

Ensure that all security equipment is properly working, and the systems are always up and running.

Ensure that the CCTV equipment is working.

Service all security equipment and produces a report.

Maintain security systems and their associated software, such as intrusion detection/prevention systems, and anti-virus software for the organisation.

Create scripts to codify and automate common practices.

Ensure the antivirus server is working well and protecting ZINARA’s environment.

Ensure that security and integrity of data on ZINARA machines is maintained all the time and protect machines from malicious attack from viruses and spam.

Ensure that all PCs have functioning passwords and the password policy on the Domain Controller is applied and maintained on the PCs.

Defend the internal network from outside, Internet cyber threats.

Configure security hardware and software such as firewalls, antivirus programs, and operating system updates.

Authorise personnel and provide login credentials for the network.

Detect any unauthorized attempts to access the system.

Perform security audits on the network.

Upgrade current systems with the latest patches.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
  • 5 Ordinary Levels including Mathematics and English.
  • Degree in Information Security and Quality Assurance/Computer Science/Information Systems/ Electronic Engineering/Telecommunication
